"Yes. I regret that I didn't start acting earlier. I'm in a really fantastic place right now. It's what I've always wanted to do, but got side-tracked somewhere along the line. Glad to say I am on the right path now and feeling empowered to do a lot more."

"I never try and figure things out intellectually. My search is always intuitive. Through the use of my imagination and investigating the script, I begin to 'get a feel' for the character."

What advice would you give to those starting out?
"It's a very tough industry. One has to be psychologically prepared for it. If you can insulate yourself against rejection and never take things personally then you may stand a chance. Part and parcel of being an actor is this. If you fail to do this, then you are subjecting yourself to a life of frustration and upset."

"Totally head over heels."

What would you be if you weren't an actor?
"I did try out with the Metropolitan Police as a Forensic psychologist and examiner, but l learnt that I am colour blind – so that was that. Also worked as an executive recruitment consultant which I found very boring. I would probably be involved in something creative like design or advertsing."
